The first step to planning your travel through Europe is consulting the Eurail schedule. Once you have decided on the places you would like to visit and the things you would like to do, you need to work out the most effective way of getting from one place to another. To do this, you need to know exactly what is available to you. The Eurail schedules will give you comprehensive, up to date information on travel throughout the vast majority of mainland European destinations.

You should be able to book these side trips at the same time as your main Eurail pass, at the same sitting and with the same debit or credit card. Don't forget to scrutinize journey times closely, as the European rail network does not use uniform trains traveling at the same speed.
